Just some totally random stuff posted on my Instagram these past few weeks. I don’t really have a social life at the moment and I’ve gotten tired of taking photos of everything like where I am and what I’m about to eat, hence the lack of my usual monthly diary (bah who needs that!), so all I’ve got are drawings. :) I was on television 2 weeks ago and I’m sort of too embarrassed to share it because I think I’ve been awkward in some parts, trying to explain what I do. I’ve also been getting into other mediums at a very slow pace, and I concluded my watercolor workshops for this year. The 2nd to the last image was a demo work I did for my workshops. The one on the Left was done last May and the one on the Right was just a few days ago. I never quite expected that the result would have a huge jump. I probably unlocked a couple of things while constantly relaying certain processes to my students. I’ve been enjoying teaching a lot and I’m really happy that my attendees are responding very positively to it. It feels overwhelming to see how much they progress all throughout the course. I was really touched when one of my attendees said that she doesn’t get frustrated anymore when she paints, and another said that her works had a HUGE jump from the 1st to the last session. I feel very pressured whenever I feel that someone in class is getting left behind. I’m glad to see that my worries are paying off. There you go, my life right now. :)
A sketchbook page. Not-yet-painted and then painted.
I was thinking of putting better use to my tumblr so I changed the layout yesterday to get me in a posting appetite. I’ve been writing disheveled feelings in my sketchbook like “how long does it take to forget?" and I respond with, you can never forget; you can’t ever forget. I realized that there are just some things that will haunt you for the rest of your life.
Drew this a couple of weeks ago. Never touched my #sketchbook since. 😥
I realized that I can never stay too long in 1 place/country.
Haven’t watercolored in over a month. 😥
Small on-the-spot painting on my #Moleskine at Calayo, Batangas. First time doing something like this.
Random #Moleskine doodle before I exercise. I just want to eat. 🍝
Dear @turmauge, list TBA.
Doodling on my sketchbook.
My sister wanted to watch an episode of Community ASAP so I painted the right page as fast as I could. I finished in 30 minutes. Community is a cool show. I’ve no idea why I never got into it when I first saw it before.
A page from my sketchbook.
